Ninian - based off of St. Ninian, a missionary to the Pictish people of modern-day Scotland - is a resident of Mossflower where he lives in a tent with his wife and family. This eventually becomes too small for their growing kin, but as he is extremely lazy he does nothing to help his wife when she decides to construct them a larger home. When completed, she makes a sign for out front that reads "This Aint Ninians!" and over time some of the letters eventually fade to the point where the sign says "sAint Ninians!" which makes creatures believe it is actually called Saint Ninian's. After this it is considered to be a church.
