Nadaz is the extremely arrogant leader of the Blackrobe Rats who wears a purple robe and wields a spear with a skull stuck on its top. His official title is "Voice of the Host" as he serves as a messenger for Malkariss, relaying his orders to the vermin soldiers as well as keeping him updated on the going-ons of the underground kingdom. He also commands the woodlander slaves and leads the horde when Matthias's group attacks, though he doesn't participate in the battle. Upon realizing that his fellow rats are losing he hides in the empty limestone statue of Malkariss and starts plotting of being the new ruler, but killed when Matthias and Orlando destroy the statue which then causes the kingdom to collapse.
