Myrtle - who only appears in the television series - is a resident of an unknown place where she lives with her family, including her younger brother Matthias. She rescues him when Cluny attacks their village and burns their home, carrying him on her back while she travels a far distance during the winter. They eventually end up at Redwall where they are found and brought inside, however she later dies from exhaustion.
