Lupinia is a resident of Mossflower where he lives with his family inside a hollow cave underneath an elm tree. He is the husband of Lupinia and father of Bappik, Berrin, Gretty, Pippt, and Wortle. They are attacked by vermin gang who enslave them and forced to cook all the meals, but rescued when Doogy and Yoofus defeat the band. He later joins the former in traveling to the latter's home when the vole suddenly vanishes with Melesme's drum, and he offers to care for the Lightpaws' house while they go to Redwall with the Walking Stone.
