This cloth monster, originally made by Fescue's great-grandfather, is created to scare away passing travelers. It has the body of a fox, talons of an owl, a serpent-like head, three large eyes, sharp teeth, hangs from a tree near Fescue's home, and is voiced by his two young children who yell into a hollow log. It is destroyed by Rose but presumably reconstructed.
