Melanius is a young resident of Salamandastron where she lives with her family. She is the daughter of Russano and Rosalaun, older sister (three seasons) of Snowstripe, and ancestor of Merola and Sagax. She is part of the audience when her father tells Brocktree's story, and she and/or her brother presumably succeed him as ruler.
