Marlfox Island

Appears In: Salamandastron and Marlfox




This island is located in the middle of the Great Inland Lake and initially the home of Ashnin, Loambudd, and Urthwyte until they move to Salamandastron. It is abandoned until a horde of foxes and water rats led by Silth and her unnamed mate move in. The pair kill the foxes, conquer the rats, and have a castle built on the island. Its skies are guarded by Athrak's flock, the water by the Teeth of the Deeps (during the time of Urthwyte it is home to the dreaded Deepcoiler), and home to woodlander slaves. After Mokkan is killed in the final battle, Megraw becomes the new ruler of the rats who are grateful that their cruel masters are no more. They then farm the land and live peacefully.
