Madd is an insane resident of northern Mossflower where she lives with her friend Botarus. She hates vermin because they murdered her family, and Botarus rescues her when he discovers her with a severe head wound. She wears a tunic made from the pelts of rats, weasels, and foxes, and she believes that Deyna/Tagg is a vermin even after he gives her a coracle.
