Lardgutt is a dagger-wielding resident of Terramort and member of Greypatch's crew. When they first arrive in Mossflower he is one of several to head out on a scouting mission and return with a captured Pakatugg, and he later participates in the battles against Redwall. He is good friends with Bigfang but after Greypatch kills him in a duel he is forced to forced to side with his leader. He is slain by Oak Tom.
