Lantur is a resident of Marlfox Island where she lives with her family. She is the youngest daughter of Silth and sister of Ascrod, Gelltor, Mokkan, Predak, Vannan, and Ziral. Like them she has pale eyes, grey fur marked with black and dark blue, wears a brown-and-green cloak, and wields an axe. She is her late father's favourite offspring and stays behind to watch her mother when her siblings travel to Mossflower to steal beautiful things for the greedy Queen. Along with Wilce she terrorizes Silth by creating the White Ghost (she paints a white sheet red and black to make it appear as a bloody spirit with black eyes and a mouth) and constantly scares her with creepy moans and the ghost popping up at windows or in her mother's chamber. Eventually it turns into a battle of wits, and Lantur is successful when she secretly poisons Silth's drink. After disposing of the body she names herself High Queen, however this only lasts for a few minutes as Mokkan returns and shoves her off the cliff where she is immediately devoured by the Teeth of the Deeps. Lantur is the seventh of her brood to perish.
