Lance of Corriam

This wooden lance, owned and wielded by Corriam, is broken when he is tossed into the sea after wildcats attack his ship and murder his sister, the High Queen Rhulain Wildlough. He is found by Runa, nursed back to health, and the two travel to Redwall where they start a family. While here he repairs the lance and outfits it with a solid silver sleeve so that both parts stay together, and after his passing Runa gives the weapon to her good friend Geminya. She puts it in the Attic to use as a curtain rail and leaves some clues as to its location. Many seasons later it is discovered by the Redwallers and used by Banjon to kill Groffgut, however as the hefty rat falls onto the lance when he is slain his weight breaks it. The High Queen Rhulain's coronet is found hidden inside the silver sleeve, and the famous weapon is fixed by Brink.
