Krobzy is the fat leader of a vole tribe who live under a hill by a river in northern Mossflower. He is the husband of Prethil and first meets Deyna/Tagg when he attempts to attack the otter after spotting him eating some pears from his trees. They become friends after Tagg defeats him, and later when they say goodbye he gives his new pal a waterproof cloak as well as a coracle. He stalks Gruven's band when they enter his territory and kills Milkeye with a well-aimed poison dart.
