Krakulat is the fearsome leader of Crow Brethren who lives with them in a large pine grove within Mossflower. He is the husband of Bonebeak and swears vengeance after his mother is killed by two of Swartt's soldiers, ordering his birds to launch many attacks. Swartt has the grove burned down in an attempt to stop them but it fails as Krakulat refuses to give up, and the crows randomly pick off vermin as they flee. He tracks the army to a gorge where he runs into Shang's crew, and despite fighting all the birds are slain. One of Shang's foxes later uses his plumage as decoration.
