This small stone knife is carried by the Wraith and is almost the same colour as him. Its name is possibly derived from the fact that its poisonous tip is so lethal it can kill its victim with a single prick, or kiss, of the flesh. The weasel climbs Salamandastron's side in an attempt to assassinate Sunflash, however he is accidentally struck by two rockcreams from Porty (who is actually aiming at Folrig and Ruddle) and the impact sends him falling down the mountside. In the process he unwittingly stabs himself in the jaw with his own knife, thus killing himself instantly. The weapon is presumably lost with him.
