Junty is the apron-wearing Abbey Cellarkeeper who sometimes plays a fiddle. He spots Badredd's gang spying on Redwall and hurls a barrel bung at them, striking Halfchop on the skull and causing him to lose all speech except for "Kachunk!" which is the sound the bung makes as it hits his head. Some time later he successfully rescues Muggum from the vermin but is fatally shot in the back by arrows from Floggo and Rogg. He is buried in the Cellar.
