Jubilation - commonly known as Jube - is a young resident of Mossflower where he lives with his family inside a hollow log. He is the descendant of Josh, son of Jabez and Rosyqueen, brother of ten sisters, father of Furlo and Higgle, and father-in-law of Teasel. His name comes from the fact that when he is born, his father shouts "Jubilation!". Along with several others he is kidnapped by Slagar and forced to become a slave, often cheering up the others with his optimism. He participates in the Battle of Malkariss, is rescued by Matthias's group (which includes his father), and moves to Redwall where they reside in the Cellar and help Ambrose. At one point he plays the hogtwanger.
