Jiboa - possibly derived from Jerboa, the name of his species - is the small leader of the Jerbilrats tribe who lives with them in the deserts north of Loamhedge's ancient remains. Like them he is mostly golden-brown, has a white stomach, long tail, dark brown eyes, and wears a grass cloak. He is captured by Bragoon and Saro because they think he is planning to steal their food, and they order him to take them to a river. Before they can arrive he is snatched up and eaten by a hungry buzzard.
