Inchig is a resident of Mossflower and, along with his mate Griv, member of the Doomwyte army. The two are ordered to take some reptiles to the Quarry so they can meet with Baliss, however when they arrive the grass snakes play dead which forces the two birds to speak with the gigantic adder. They succeed in agreeing to a meeting time and return to the Doomwyte cavern.
