This otter holt is led by Lutra (who owns the Tears of all Oceans) and resides on Mossflower's northwestern shore. They are brutally attacked by Conva's crew as Ublaz has sent the stoat to steal the pearls, and all the otters except Grath are killed. When she has fully recovered two seasons later she covers the holt entrance with bankmud that eventually dries in the sun, thus eternally entombing her murdered family. "Lutra" is derived from the Latin word for otter, lutra.
