Hillyah is the Abbey Gatekeeper who lives in the Gatehouse with her family, having moved in here half a season after Gruggle's passing. She is the wife of Oreal (who shares the title with her) and mother of Irgle and Ralg. She assists in solving Geminya's riddle by realizing that T.O.A.L. actually means Tales of Ancient Life, a book by the aforementioned Sister that props up one corner of her bed. Along with Oreal she later protects her children from a hungry gannet.
