Herag is initially a common soldier in Gulo's horde who originates from the Land of Ice and Snow. He is promoted to Captain after most of the army perishes going over a waterfall, but when he attempts to desert due to Gulo's wickedness he is killed by the wolverine who tears off his head and throws it into the stream.
