This army of one hundred white-furred vermin is led by Gulo and originates from the Land of Ice and Snow. They are famous for eating their enemies, considered to be fearsome fighters, and arrive in Mossflower when Gulo pursues his brother Askor. After several attacks their numbers fall to fifty, then to half a dozen after an incident at a waterfall. The last six survivors are killed by the Long Patrol after Gulo is slain by Tam.
