Gripper is a cutlass-wielding resident of Terramort and crew member aboard Darkqueen. He participates in the commandeering of Periwinkle and search for food, instead finding Mariel hiding under a bunk. When he grabs her she kicks out with her footpaws and fatally crushes his windpipe.
