This gigantic and extremely high cliffs, located on the Southern Plateau, are notoriously difficult to climb for any species except birds. A fall from the top means certain death. At one point in time a creature or creatures construct a rope ladder, which Slagar's gang use to climb the cliffs. He then purposely cuts the ladder so that Matthias's group cannot follow, however the woodlanders are assisted by Harry who flies up and retrieves the rope.
