Great Hall
This room - the largest within Redwall - is the first one a creature enters when going through the main doors. It has huge stained glass windows, tall columns, high roofbeam ceiling, sandstone floor, the Abbot's Chair and a large brazier where fires are lit during the winter. It is the most decorated room at Redwall and perhaps one of the most famous as it holds the tapestry of Martin the Warrior, which hangs on its walls. The stairs going to this room from Cavern Hole conceal the pathway that leads to Martin's tomb. Great Hall is mainly used for important feasts and meetings during troubled times, and it has also acted as a makeshift Infirmary. It is connected to the Cellar via a passageway, and a spiral staircase runs up to the Dormitories above.
