This massive ship captained by Vilu is famous for being completely red as well as the gigantic iron spike on her bow, which Vilu uses to impale other vessels. She is eventually steered by Luke into Tall Rocks, with the spike being driven deep into the huge stone pillars. The force of the impact rips her in half, sending the stern (along with the corsairs and most of the oarslaves, including Luke who has Vilu trapped in the wheel) to the bottom of the ocean. The four lone survivors - Beau, Denno, Dulam, and Vurg respectively - rename the bow Arfship and live here for many seasons until they are found by Martin's group. After retelling the story of Luke's bravery they leave the ship permanently and move to Redwall.
