Globby is a young soldier in the Ravagers army who serves in Daclaw's group. Like most youngsters he does not listen and, along with Dinko, sent to spy on Redwall to see if they can possibly snatch up any hostages. While here they smell a delicious aroma arising from the Kitchen, and a hungry Globby climbs a tree before jumping onto the walltops. He eventually finds his way to the Kitchen where he devours everything he can get his paws on, leaving a large mess in his wake and later falling asleep. The following morning he is discovered by the Redwallers and ordered to clean up his mess, with Soogum tying him to a table leg so he cannot escape. Upon snagging a small knife he cuts through his bonds and escapes, fleeing to the Attic when the woodlanders want to question him about the missing Guffy and Tassy (he believes they want to hurt him). He locks himself in a room and refuses to come out even after Marjoram repeatedly says they just wish to ask him some questions about the missing Dibbuns. Tollum decides to swing through the Attic windows in hopes of gaining information from him, however the plan goes horribly wrong when the two creatures collide - the knife Globby is wielding stabs the squirrel in his middle, causing him to go rigid with pain. His outstretched paws strike Globby hard on the bottom of his throat and fatally snap his windpipe. The stoat manages to speak the words "Althier, Althier, Sable Quean!" before dying.
