Gil is a young resident of the High North Coast and, along with her sister Dreel, member of the Rogue Crew Sea Otters. She act as scouts, help Buff in a tracking mission, discovers the GUOSIM survivors of an ambush by Razzid's crew, and briefly captured by Ketral's band before being rescued by her friends. She later participates in the Battle of Redwall.
