Mr. Fieldmouse is a resident of Redwall where he lives with his family. He is the husband of Mrs. Fieldmouse, father of Cornflower, father-in-law of Matthias, grandfather of Mattimeo, and great-grandfather of Martin II. When Shadow runs off with Martin's tapestry he attempts to stop him but is stabbed twice by the rat's dagger, though he luckily survives and later helps to defend his home against Cluny's horde.
