Fwirl is a pretty resident of Mossflower who lives here by herself as her parents have been slain by foxes in her infancy. She is the wife of Broggle, mother of Rosabel, has large eyes, shiny white teeth, wears a short green tunic with a belt, and considered to be a "Treewhiffler" or excellent climber. Cregga eventually mentions that she come to live at Redwall, as the blind badger knows that Broggle secretly likes the squirrelmaid, and she excitedly accepts. She helps to solve Song's riddle and receives a wound from one of Vallug's arrows but survives.
