Furpp is an old resident of Southsward and the leader of a mole colony who lives with them in a hollow hill near Floret. He is the grandfather of Burdill, Grumbee, and Porgoo. While being attacked by some of Nagru's soldiers they are rescued by Meldrum and his four nephews.
