Furgale is a young resident of Salamandastron and member of the Long Patrol. He is friends with Algador and Trowbaggs, and initially serves the Officers in the Mess Hall before joining Cregga on the trip to find Damug. He participates in the Battle of the Ridge of a Thousand and, along with Reeve, killed by the Rapscallions. Clubrush, who is close with him, grieves heavily.
