Frogeye - so named because one of his eyes is a sightless milky orb - is a young member of Groffgut's gang and captures a wounded Pandion, although he doesn't get to eat him as they are stopped by the timely arrival of Tiria's group. He later tries to stop the band from trying to attack Redwall following a number of failed attempts, but Groffgut bullies him into submission. Along with Plugtail he is eaten by the massive gannet outside the Abbey gates.
