Fraul is a sad-looking Captain in Trunn's horde who leads the first charge in an attack on Salamandastron but demoted after failing to capture Stonepaw alive and allowing the hares to escape. Along with Groddil he searches the underground caverns for an exit, and while traveling through a tunnel he encounter spider crabs who eat him alive. His skeletal remains are later discovered by Brocktree's group while they are sneaking into the mountain fortress.
