Floggtail is the first mate aboard Greenhawk who mentions a plan conceived by Scritchy and Wippback to ambush what they think are two creatures (really Luke's tribe) on the beach, however Reynard says this will fail as the ship is quickly sucking in water and might sink by the time they reach the shore. Along with the rest of his fellow corsairs he is killed by the mice.
