Flink is a tracker in Badrang's army who, along with his companion Bugpaw and eleven others, pursues the rescued Marshank slaves. They fall for a trail laid by Brome and Felldoh that leads into a swamp, and he and Hisk start to sink. He attempts to grab the other weasel's spear so he can get out but Hisk, realizing that the extra weight will prove fatal for them both, shoves him back into the swamp where he promptly drowns.
