Fleaback is a slaver in Slagar's gang who acts as a tumbler during the "performance" at Redwall and helps to drug the woodlanders so that the vermin can kidnap any youngsters. During the mutiny near Loamhedge's ancient ruins he allies himself with Drynose and Threeclaws, killing Halftail in the ensuing scuffle. He is one of five to live through the fight, and banished by Matthias and Orlando.
