Flairnose is a dagger-wielding resident of Sampetra and crew member aboard Waveworm who joins Conva on the trip to Mossflower to steal the Tears of all Oceans. Although they are successful in this mission by killing Lutra's entire tribe save Grath and obtaining the pearls, he and Graylunk steal them from Conva and flee into the woodlands. They end up arguing and eventually get into a physical fight, with Flairnose being slain by his companion but not before inflicting a fatal headwound that kills him some time later.
