This title is given to the leader of the Rapscallions army, and is always a Greatrat. A Firstblade is the only one allowed to wield the Rapscallion Sword, and tosses it into the air during the Throwing of the Sword ceremony to determine if they will travel by sea or land. The two Greatrats who are known to hold the title are Gormad and his son Damug.
