This deadly weapon is used by Greypatch's crew during their ongoing assault on Redwall. It consists of a long rope acting as a grapnel with a grass-covered rock coated in lamp oil attached to its end. The rock is lit ablaze, swung in circles by the user, then released. They are dangerous because they can be thrown from a distance and, in particular, explodes on impact.
