Ficaria - a genus of yellow flower related to buttercups - is an old resident of Redwall who helps in the Infirmary and recites a poem about Gonff stealing the Great Doomwyte Idol jewels, which she learned via Laburnum's volumes. Towards the end of her seasons she uses a wheelchair and eventually passes away in her sleep.
