Ferdy is a young resident of Mossflower where he lives with his family. He is the son of Ben and Goody, brother of Coggs (twin), Posy, and Spike, and adoptive brother of Gonff. Along with Coggs he idolizes Gonff and Martin, often pretending to be like them. The two brothers are captured by Tsarmina and held within Kotir where they befriend Gingigvere, and the trio is rescued by Mask. In adulthood they become the first Abbey Cellarkeepers and are responsible for smithing the weathervane.
