Felch is an axe-wielding member of the Juskarath clan who lives with them in northwest Mossflower and sports their tattoos, a black stripe down the muzzle with crimson dots on either side. He is present when Sawney kidnaps a baby Deyna/Tagg, tripping over the infant and receiving a bite as a result. When he attempts to hurt him he is stopped when Sawney's dagger pins his paw to a tree, which permanently cripples the limb. After this he allies himself with Antigra and is constantly tormented by his leader, and fifteen seasons later he is forced to retrieve the dagger when Sawney throws it at him and misses. He locates the weapon and deserts, only to be captured by a grown Deyna/Tagg. The following morning he is brought back to the Juskarath camp where Sawney orders his adopted son to skin him alive, however the otter refuses and instead lets Felch go. He later witnesses Antigra killing Sawney and gleefully stabs the ferret's body with a spear, however when he hands the weapon back to Antigra she slays him with it as she claims he has seen too much.
