Durrlow is a soldier in the water rat army that serves the Marlfoxes and joins them on the trip to Mossflower to steal beautiful objects for a greedy Silth. Along with Toolam he accompanies Mokkan back to the island and is promoted to Chief Advisor, taking over for Wilce. During the final battle he is ordered by Mokkan to help him escape but he refuses as he has decided he will no longer accept being bullied by his leaders, staying on land and pushing the Marlfox's boat out into the lake.
