Durby is a rascally Dibbun of Redwall who lives here with his mother Mrs. Furrel. He dislikes baths because he believes they will make him smaller (thus he measures himself beforehand), and falls off the Abbey ramparts with Feegle while playing there with her and Trey. The two babes are snatched up by Poskra who plans on using them for ransom, but he is killed by Vallug who then takes the infants. They are both rescued by their friends and safely returned to Redwall.
