Dupper is an infant GUOSIM member who lives with them in Mossflower. He is captured by an adder and rescued by Asio, who believes the reptile to be a harmless grass snake and ends up dying from being bitten several times. Upon being returning home, his mother is told of the brave owl's sacrifice and decides to rename her son Asio.
