Drogbuk is an ancient wanderer of Mossflower and supposedly banished from Redwall twice due to thievery and intoxication. He is the presumed relative of Pinny, Twoggs, and Uggo, a bit of a grump, and losing his spikes thanks to his age. After being tricked by Shekra into boarding Greenshroud he is given grog by a "friendly" Razzid to the point where he becomes drunk, and he falls for their plot to get him to tell them the directions to Redwall. The two vermin then kidnap him but he escapes some time later when sober, and meets up with the Long Patrol who are accompanied by the GUOSIM and Rogue Crew Sea Otters. He claims he knows a shortcut to the Abbey but quickly irritates them all with his constant whining and horrible body odour, so Kite and some others toss the reluctant beast into a stream for a much-needed bath. As he receives a good wash he loses the remainder of his spikes, thus making him the only known "naked" hedgehog to appear in the series.
