This gang of about eight river rats is led by Driftail and originate from the Western Plains. They have a nasty habit of ambushing innocent travelers, are known to the Long Patrol, and fall for a trick played by Gulo's horde after capturing Zerig. The rats are interrogated and eaten by the army.
