Drander is a young resident of Salamandastron and member of the Long Patrol who joins Rake on the trip to strike an alliance with the Rogue Crew Sea Otters. He is tall, well-built, and killed by a vermin spear to the back while protecting Buff and Sage during the Battle of Redwall.
