Dinko is a young soldier in the Ravagers army and friends with Globby. While posted outside Redwall they wander off after catching a scent of the delicious food, however he hangs back with his pal climbs a sycamore and encourages him to follow. When Globby vanishes inside the Kitchen, Dinko returns to Daclaw to tell him what has happened.
